Is it too early to talk about Christmas shopping?

I've put it off for as long as I can but this year I'm getting really excited about the festive season because we have so much going over the next few months. Apparently, *studies show our brains' pleasure centers light up brighter when we give than when we receive so think how amazing you will feel knowing that when you give an awamu gift you are giving twice - as all the profit we make goes to support orphaned children like Tom through school.

Over the next few weeks we are going to be filling our on-line shop with new goodies that will make brilliant Christmas gifts and stocking fillers for grown up and kids alike.

And if you'd like to browse and see us in real life there are going to be lots of opportunities...

  • In Bristol the Secret Circus pop-up shop opening on the 16th of November in Cabot Circus. They will be selling unique stylish gifts - artist books, re-upholstered furniture, antiques, vintage clothing, cards, maps, Awamu kids clothes and toys and gifts,  comics, books and prints with prices ranging from 50p for vintage stamp broaches to £400 for designer printed re-upholstered furniture. They will also be running special events & workshop, acoustic nights, scrabble nights, poetry, dance, dj’s in store, kids reading time, film nights, photography workshops, classes and talks.

  • In London we will be making appearances at several fabulous and famous markets through November and December here are the first few confirmed dates to get in your diary!

10th of November - Old Spitalfields Market with We Make London

29th of November - Camden Night Market

More dates for shopping and some workshops to follow soon too!

*Fluffy 'factoid' found on the internets so bound to be no truth in this what so ever!
