Make Mine a Double Returns 5–7 December 2025

A weekend of music, community and double the impact for girls’ education

From 5–7 December, our wonderful Together Festival family - DJs, artists, friends, and long-time supporters - are coming together once again for Make Mine a Double. Hosted by our brilliant chums on Radio Waters, it’s three days of music, joy, chat, silliness and deep community spirit… all in support of girls’ education in Kampala.

Every year, we are blown away by the kindness, creativity and generosity of this community that come together to help us smash our appeal target.

And this year, your support matters more than ever.

The match that keeps girls in school

This December, for one week only, every donation made to Awamu through our Big Give page will be doubled.

Yes — doubled.

If you give £10, it becomes £20.
£25 becomes £50.
At no extra cost to you.

This match is only available during the campaign week, and it is absolutely essential.

To help keep the girls we support in school next year, we must raise £21,000 - and we can only reach that total if we unlock the full matched funding.

For girls in our programme, education isn’t just about learning.
It’s about safety, confidence, belonging, and hope.
It’s protects them from violence, exploitation and the cycle of poverty.

Without this match, we simply can’t meet the costs.

Expect everything from warm melodic grooves to wild late-night chaos, unexpected bangers, gorgeous Sunday-morning selections and the usual Together-style nonsense that makes this community so special.

We’ll share the full schedule soon — keep an eye on our socials.
